Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs are wonderful companions. Most folks have not heard of them, but the Swissy is slowly gaining popularity and recognition in America. They are not for everybody, but these 'gentle giants' are one of the most faithful and loving dogs known to walk alongside humans. For more info on Swissies, check the Swissy Links.

We brought our first Swissy, 'Sarge', into our home April 2000. Here are a few favorite pictures of Sarge (there are plenty more at Sarge's Photo Album):
